Isilon Announces Certification With Symantec NetBackup

Isilon Systems have been certified with NetBackup software from Symantec Corporation. This certification is targeted for the network data management protocol (NDMP), creating a robust and reliable data backup and restore solution for enterprise businesses using Isilon scale-out NAS. By leveraging Isilon IQ and the Back-up Accelerator in combination with Symantec NetBackup, customers can significantly improve the performance of their data protection operations, reduce back-up windows, and minimize the risk of mission-critical data loss.
