Partnership Between Mimosa and Digital Reef

To deliver e-discovery for archived content

Digital Reef, developer of massively scalable unstructured data management platform, announces a partnership with Mimosa Systems, Inc. in live content archiving solutions. The partnership was formed to address the growing need for solutions that rapidly and accurately discover, analyze, and manage content in support of the litigation process, in particular, early case assessment (ECA).

"The ability to make fast, informed decisions about legal strategy and eDiscovery are major challenges for most large organizations and our customers are no different. When we assessed the Digital Reef solution, we recognized the comprehensive early case assessment feature we could bring to our customers by using the advanced analytics functionality in conjunction with our email, file, and SharePoint archiving solutions," commented Scott Whitney, Vice President of Product Marketing at Mimosa Systems. "We believe there will be a high level of interest on the part of our customers."

Litigation is an economic event that requires enterprises to make critical, and often costly, decisions related to pursuing litigation or proposing settlements. Mimosa’s NearPoint platform provides customers with next-generation archiving and unified search and tagging for, Microsoft® Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint file systems, and laptops/desktops. Digital Reef enhances NearPoint by providing broader case management, deeper analysis of case data, and the ability to better cull data to the minimally responsive universe — enabling a higher standard of early case assessment.

"We are very pleased to have formed a partnership with Mimosa Systems," said Steve Akers, President and CEO of Digital Reef. "Mimosa is an extremely well-regarded archiving vendor with a reputation for innovative solutions. The combined power of our enterprise solutions will raise the bar for proactive legal discovery in Microsoft environments."

The Digital Reef and Mimosa solution is now generally available
