MaxTronic Unveils ExaSAN PCI-e solution

It supports multiple uncompressed HD video streams.

MaxTronic International Co., Ltd. (Arena) exhibited its ExaSAN PCI-e solution at COMPUTEX Taipei.

  • demands for high definition video in media broadcasting or movie industries.

MaxTronic would like to propose these high performance disk arrays into video editing field. By listening to customer’s demand, we take a step forward to integrate our PCI-e products with MetaSAN software. By integrating it, the new PCI-e systems and switches, the new Arena ExaRAID HD SA-6608S/SA-8808S Disk array system and ExaSAN switch could also compatible with windows system which allow user to use window’s application for video editing on our PCI-e storage system.The final achievement of broadcast distribution/network from Arena iSCSI Storage Solution is how the audio/ media content deliver in high performance streams simultaneously while obtaining the efficient workflows.

Feature Highlights:

  • Multi-platform and cross platform editing – By integrating MetaSAN into the servers, the customer could have more flexibility on choosing applications on either windows or mac for video editing. Now the customer could even achieve cross platform reviewing and editing. It accelerates the working progress as well and gain extra performance through PCI-e bandwidth.
  • Extended optical cable with excellent connection support – By using optical cable in the solution, the connection of our PCI-e storage pool could support the same length with fiber base SAN. It’s easier for customer to use in the same design of machine room and editing room and provides much more freedom to the customer’s space design.
  • SAN like extension flexibility
  • Customer could gain future expansion guaranty on first installation. Our PCI-e solution could support up to 12 servers and 28 storages. It’s quite sufficient for entry to middle video editing enterprise to adapt on their video pool- either for rendering or for multi-path editing.
