To five Department of Defense customers
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 8, 2009 at 3:30 pmIceWEB‘s INLINE subsidiary announced the sale of multi-terabyte imagery solutions to be used by government agencies affiliated with the Department of Defense. The Solutions include multiple storage units, Network Attached Storage Appliances (NAS) and INLINE’s high availability servers. The Company expects to recognize revenue from the sales during its current fiscal quarter.
"We have experienced growing demand for our innovative storage solutions from both government and private sector customers," said John R. Signorello, IceWEB’s CEO. "As systems become more complex and demands for data increase further, we believe that we are well positioned to capture an increasing share of this business as a result of our proprietary technology platform."
The INLINE FileSTORM NAS device is a server that runs an operating system specifically designed for handling files (rather than block data). Network-attached storage is accessible directly on the local area network (LAN) through LAN protocols such as TCP/IP.
