Northup brings nearly 30 years of executive experience helping build companies in the e-commerce and software sectors. George will be based in San Jose and will focus on scaling operations for Memeo as the company continues to experience rapid growth.
Prior to joining Memeo, Northup was president and CEO at AuctionDrop, Inc., During his career, Northup has been involved in the building of four companies with cumulative revenues in excess of $1 billion. He has held a variety of executive positions at companies including, LiveCapital, Inc., Online Resources Corporation, Inc., Intellicall, Inc. and SMS Data Products Group, Inc. George started
his career at Deloitte & Touche.

This appointment follows Memeo’s record growth and revenues during 2008, having shipped more than 20 million licenses of Memeo Backup, AutoSync and Share across 150 countries and in 10 languages.
