DVS-SAN Delivered to Madrid-Based TV Service Provider Telson

Telson Servicios Audiovisuales S.L.U. Service of Madrid, a television service provider, has enlisted the services of Hanover-based enterprise DVS Digital Video Systems AG to completely reorganize their IT infrastructure. With the introduction of the DVS-SAN Telson now benefits from an increase in stability and performance as well as increased data rates.

Telson has implemented SpycerBox as a fast buffer store and near-line storage solution for all data. Realizing optimum results with the SpycerBox implementation, Telson decided to further leverage SpycerBox as a NAS solution (Network Attached Storage) storing different projects throughout their workflow.

At the core of Telson’s new DI workflow is the DVS-SAN, enabling them to reliably store and manage content. As a result several workstations have parallel access to large amounts of content. The DVS-SAN acts as a central storage system delivering four online streams in real time.

RAID-5 technology provides protection for Telson’s sensitive data. Telson’s movie projects can now be managed and processed with no concern for loss of relevant data.

The integrated data management software Spycer gives Telson the ability to optimize and speed-up workflow processes using a sophisticated set of data management tools including browse and search functions, high-speed copying, and disk defragmentation.
