For fiscal quarter ending on May 1 (1Q10), storage revenues of Dell, Inc. were $534 million, down 24% from 4Q09 and 17% from 1Q09, representing 4% of its global sales.

Brian Gladden, CFO:
"Storage revenue was down 17% but EqualLogic revenue was up 71% [from a year ago] and we launched our new PS6000 series of iSCSI storage arrays with increased performance at advanced virtualization capabilities."
Michael Dell, chairman and CEO:
"Our eight-year relationship with EMC has delivered over $10 billion in storage solutions to our customers. Our EqualLogic storage business is now four times larger than when we acquired it, delivering a scalable, virtualized solution right in the sweet spot of data center growth."
