Mezeo Software Corp., provider of deployable cloud storage solutions for service providers, congratulates SoftLayer, a leading IT Hosting Provider, on the successful launch of its cloud storage solution, CloudLayer Storage service. SoftLayer Technologies, Inc., a Mezeo Premier Hosting Partner, introduced CloudLayer Storage last week. CloudLayer Storage is powered by the Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform.

CloudLayer Storage utilizes SoftLayer’s advanced StorageLayer solution, which integrates industry-leading technologies – including FTP/NAS, iSCSI, EVault, and others – into a unified storage environment for the ultimate level of security and reliability. Use of Mezeo’s platform ensures that the files are always secure and encrypted – SSL encryption in transit and 256 bit AES encryption at rest. User access is controlled using role based permissions and share expirations. Mezeo’s white labeled Access Clients for Windows Desktops and leading mobile smartphones – BlackBerry, iPhone, and Windows Mobile devices, enable ubiquitous access to files on CloudLayer Storage. In addition, these files can be accessed via WebDAV or a Web 2.0 browser interface.
