Storwize Uses Intel Xeon Processor 5500

Storwize, Inc., provider of real-time capacity optimization solutions, optimized their STN-OS operating system software to fully leverage the Intel Xeon processor 5500 series powerful hardware capabilities. Storwize solutions are deployed at hundreds of customer locations worldwide enabling organizations to achieve significant and immediate ROI by dramatically reducing their cost of storage and associated infrastructure footprint, power, cooling, and administrative costs.

Double-digit storage capacity growth and the current economic climate are forcing IT organizations to reduce costs and increase the efficiency of their entire infrastructure.
