SGL Expands in Latin America
With resellers CIS Group (Brazil) and IPLUSB (Argentina)

CIS Group (Brazil) and IPLUSB (Argentina) will represent SGL in their respective regions providing broadcast and post production facilities with a fully comprehensive archive environment.
This announcement further expands SGL’s presence in the region and shows the company’s continued commitment to its customers. American distributor CIS Group, which has offices in Brazil, US and Portugal will sell the entire SGL portfolio in Brazil with strong focus on FlashNet, SGL’s content storage archive solution.
"SGL is a natural extension of the current product line carried by CIS, which includes solutions by companies including Avid/Digidesign, Apple, Digital Rapids, Signiant, MOG Technologies, FilmLight and Snell. CIS has always been focused on digital media solutions and SGL is a very important component of the digital management puzzle," says Guilherme Silva, CEO, CIS Group.
He adds: "The broadcast and content production markets are quickly moving into file-based workflows that require highly effective media and content management systems due to the high volume of digital data. For years, SGL has worked closely with Avid and has reached an optimized level of interoperability with Avid Interplay based systems."
Argentina based IPLUSB will also sell the entire SGL archive portfolio. IPLUSB provides integrated solutions for audio-visual content management for broadcast, cinema, video and multimedia, using the best solutions from the IT world.
