Our opinion on RAID-10: it's the best level of disk array in term of performance since mirroring does not need any calculation.
The only disadvantage is that RAID-10 requires a lot of HDDs, the user capacity being finally half of the total capacity of the drives. But, today, when you look at the price of HDDs - around $150 for a 1.5TB unit -, RAID-10 is not anymore a luxurious disk array.
