Tivoli Storage Manager for Microsoft SharePoint V6.1 is designed to protect Microsoft Sharepoint environment. Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows V6.1 helps get control of, and efficiently manage, data growth and its associated storage costs by providing space management for Microsoft Windows NTFS file systems. Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows V6.1 has the capability to automatically migrate selected files, based on established policy, to less expensive storage devices. It accomplishes this while still preserving file accessibility to the end user.

Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows V6.1 now takes this capability to the next level with the addition of an automatic threshold migration capability. This capability allows you to set and maintain a constant amount of free space on the protected system, which helps ensure to have the necessary free space that is required for supporting end users and keeping critical applications available and online.
