Nexsan Customers Turning On AutoMAID Receive Complimentary HDDs

By using Nexsan AutoMAID (Automatic Massive Array of Idle Disks), companies can lower energy and cooling costs by up to 60 percent without impacting data access performance.

The ‘Get Your Green On’ promotion1 is valid for any new SATABeast, SATABoy, SASBeast and SASBoy purchases when customers turn on the built-in AutoMAID energy saving feature for 30 days. Customers who send in their AutoMAID system logs by September 30, 2009 will be eligible for complimentary spare drives. Two free drives will be offered for any Nexsan Beast product using AutoMAID, with a minimum of 14 drives. One free drive will be offered for any Nexsan Boy product using AutoMAID, with a minimum of 8 drives. To qualify, purchase orders must be received by an authorized Nexsan reseller by June 15, 2009 and the product must ship by June 30, 2009. Complimentary drives will be the same capacity as the existing system drives.
