Rimage Released Producer Software Suite v8.2

To improve customer workflow on its Producer and Professional duplicators

Rimage Corporation announced Producer Software Suite v8.2, a feature-loaded release sure to improve customer workflow while saving time and money.

The new Producer Software Suite v8.2 adds many easy-to-use features to Rimage’s already intuitive software,” says Manny Almeida, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Rimage.

This software is designed for use with Rimage Producer and Professional series systems. Producer Software Suite v8.2 includes a new WebQDTM interface along with major improvements to CD Designer, QuickDisc, a direct link to Rimage’s KnowledgeBase, and WatchFolders.

In addition, Producer Software Suite is now compatible with Windows Vista. Rimage’s WebQD application provides users the capability to create disc publishing jobs from anywhere on the network without having to install the QuickDisc application. A user simply enters the address of the Rimage system into their web browser to enable disc burning and printing capabilities from anywhere on the network.

WatchFolders are now available for both Macintosh and Windows platforms. They enable users to seamlessly burn and print jobs without the need for any programming.

The popularRimage KnowledgeBase, introduced last November, provides fast answers to users’ questions and is now incorporated into all Rimage client application help menus. After entering a question, the KnowledgeBase furnishes an answer via text or video. The KnowledgeBase is continually updated with new answers.
