Thomson and Tongish most recently held senior positions at Plasmon and both come to QStar with more than 20 years of experience in the storage industry. The announcement of these latest appointments comes on the back of recent QStar global sales force expansion.
As Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, Dave Thomson’s focus with be on the further development of QStar’s sales channel and support of new and existing OEM partners. One region of particular focus will be the expansion of QStar’s partner network in North America. Steve Tongish is working closely with Thomson and his sales team as Global Marketing Director to drive visibility for the QStar name in target markets and proactively support channel partners to grow their archiving and data management business.
