Mimosa Systems has expanded the company’s operations across Canada in response to increasing eDiscovery requirements. The Mimosa NearPoint content archiving solution has rapidly become recognized as a core component of a comprehensive solution for addressing the principals of electronic discovery in Canada as outlined by The Sedona Conference Working Group 7, ‘Sedona Canada.’

Mimosa has opened its new office in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada building out dedicated sales, marketing, technical support and engineering resources for focused and efficient Canadian customer engagement. Mimosa has appointed Geoff Bourgeois as Mimosa’s Canadian site director, and Jim Farrell as head of sales operations. Bourgeois and Farrell bring a deep understanding of the archiving and eDiscovery market and will leverage their domain expertise to continue to build a strategic channel presence to uniquely address their customers’ needs for archiving, eDiscovery and recovery of information in a single, unified solution.
