Avnet Will Distribute PGP Encryption Platform and Solutions

PGP Corporation, in enterprise data protection, has signed a distribution agreement with Avnet Technology Solutions, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. Under the agreement, technology solutions distributor Avnet will distribute the PGP Encryption Platform and Solutions to value-added resellers (VARs) in the United States and Canada. Together, PGP Corporation and Avnet will provide industry-specific security solutions and services that address the growing customer demand to holistically protect their core asset: data.

Avnet will incorporate the PGP Corporation data protection product portfolio across its key lines of business, enabling partners to offer more comprehensive multi-vendor technology solutions based on Avnet’s portfolio of complementary solutions from market-leading storage and high-end server vendors. Additionally, partners will be able to capitalize on Avnet’s enablement programs to gain expertise in high-growth markets, such as security, government and healthcare.
