Permabit Relocates HQs
And adds Paul Pedevillano as CFO and Brett Hawkes as VP b'ss development

The company also announced that they have added two important executive positions to the company in Chief Financial Officer, Paul Pedevillano and new Vice President of Business Development, Brett Hawkes.
Permabit made the change in company headquarters to better meet its business and technology growth objectives as well as strengthen the company’s position competing for the area’s top industry talent. Through this move the company will be able to more effectively meet the challenges and demands of the rapidly growing data management market place.
Paul Pedevillano joins the company as chief financial officer and is charged with overseeing the financial direction for Permabit and is responsible for finance, accounting, facilities, and treasury management. Prior to Permabit, Pedevillano served as CFO and COO at several public companies, including Alloy Computer Products and SystemSoft Corporation. Paul is a Summa Cum Laude Graduate from Quinnipiac University.
Brett Hawkes is Permabit’s new vice president of business development and is responsible for developing Permabit’s alliances and OEM relationships with strategic industry partners. Brett comes to Permabit from NetApp which he joined through its acquisition of Onaro Inc. Brett has more than 25 years of sales and sales management experience, 15 of those years have been spent in the storage industry. Prior to NetApp, Paul managed OEM relations for Aarohi Communications and Vixel which both resulted in acquisitions by Emulex Corp. Brett holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Syracuse University.
