3ware SAS and SATA RAID Controller Drivers Certified for VMware

Applied Micro Circuits Corporation announced its family of 3ware 9690SA SAS and 9650SE SATA controller drivers are now VMware Ready Certified. This designation indicates that these PCI-E serial RAID controllers have completed the VMware Hardware Certification Program testing criteria for use with VMware ESX Server 3.5 and are now listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility Guide. The VMware Hardware Certification Program enables VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program members to provide mutual customers with jointly supported hardware solutions.

Passing the extensive certification testing helps ensure that the drivers for AMCC’s 3ware 9690SA and 9650SE controllers are compatible with VMware technology and ready for deployment in customer environments.
