Double-Take for Hyper-V

Double-Take Software announced the availability of Double-Take for Hyper-V. This is a new version Double-Take for Windows dedicated to protecting Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V. Double-Take for Hyper-V is the one of the first real-time replication and failover solutions specifically designed for the Microsoft hypervisor, supporting both LAN and WAN.

Double-Take for Hyper-V is based on Double-Take Software’s tried and tested replication technology. A long term relationship with Microsoft has allowed Double-Take Software to develop a targeted solution which integrates seamlessly with the Microsoft environment, making it very easy to install and use.

Extending the capabilities of Hyper-V
According to industry analysts Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG), “Double-Take for Hyper-V fills the gaps in terms of high availability and disaster recovery in the Microsoft offering when compared with the competition.”

Despite the low cost and simplicity of the Hyper-V solution many businesses are still hesitant about deploying it because it doesn’t ensure the high availability features for the protection of production servers or for robust disaster recovery planning. Double-Take for Hyper-V perfectly complements the Microsoft offering.
