CreditReport.com Installed Brocade Networking Solution
To help enhance the service experience for thousands of consumers accessing credit information
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on March 12, 2009 at 3:35 pmBrocade announced that CreditReport.com, a leading provider of credit information services, installed a comprehensive Brocade Ethernet and Fibre Channel networking solution to help ensure business critical performance and reliability as well as to help lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and increase return on investment (ROI). An e-commerce enterprise that depends on network uptime for its business, CreditReport.com uses a Brocade network to help enhance the service experience for thousands of consumers accessing important credit information and other Internet-based offerings.
The network adds redundant failover functionality at the core switch level in addition to application traffic management and load balancing, and high-end network routing. Brocade also provided entirely new core network operation located at a different distributed data center to help provide redundancy, backup and reliability.
CreditReport.com deployed Brocade NetIron MLX Series routers designed for fully redundant routing and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) peering with the company’s ISP to enable greater communications efficiency. Brocade ServerIron application delivery switches are installed to assist with redundant load balancing of internal and external user network traffic to optimize business application performance and Website responsiveness for customers. Brocade FastIron SX switches are used at the core switch level, and are designed to provide fully-redundant 10 gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) server connectivity and internal back-end routing for maximum bandwidth and resilient operations. Finally, fully redundant Brocade 5000 Switches help ensure reliable and high-speed Fibre Channel access to the storage area network (SAN).
