Chad Latimer CEO of AxisPointe

AxisPointe, in facility asset management and post-construction customer service, announced the appointment of Chad Latimer, former VP of Sales for Symantec, as President and CEO. Latimer will be responsible for providing strategic leadership founded in his extensive organizational experience in sales, services, management and development.

“Chad is a proven business leader with considerable corporate level experience, particularly with strategic planning, finance management, and sales execution,” said Mark Willes, AxisPointe board chair. “He has the proven track record and skills needed to help AxisPointe achieve the next level of success and broaden our sales reach.”

Latimer was formerly vice president of global and international services at Symantec. He brings more than 20 years of software industry experience in sales, services, management and development with startups and Fortune 500 companies. A graduate of Brigham Young University, he began his 20-year software industry career with WordPerfect, Novell, PowerQuest and Legato. For the past nine years, he held various positions with Altiris, now Symantec, where he was a responsible for developing sales teams, professional services organizations, and international operations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.
