Dmitri Joukovski VP of Product Management for Acronis

This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 3, 2009 at 3:50 pmAcronis, Inc. named industry veteran Dmitri Joukovski as vice president of product management. He will be responsible for extending and expanding Acronis products from home users to enterprise customers.
Joukovski joins Acronis with an extensive background in the data backup and disaster recovery space. Most recently he served as vice president at Zmanda, a leader in open source data protection and archiving software. Prior to that, he was with EMC as, among other assignments, principal product manager for NetWorker, the leading enterprise backup software. Dmitri also held senior product management, marketing and business development roles with Legato Systems, Delphi Forums and TapeLabs.
"Dmitri brings with him a wealth of experience that will be a valuable asset to the leadership at Acronis," said Jason Donahue, CEO of Acronis. "He will play an integral role in how we communicate to our strong customer base and in the markets and products we set our sights on in the future."

Joukovski holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia, and an MBA from Yale School of Management.
He wrote multiple articles and contributed to several books about
backup and recovery published by O’Reilly. Dmitri lives in Silicon
Valley, CA with his wife and two children.
