Halid Hatic VP and GM of Silex Media

Silex Media Americas announces the appointment of Halid Hatic to the position of Vice President and General Manager. In his new position he is responsible for driving the sales and business development strategy in the growing American market. Halid leads a highly skilled team of specialists focused upon designing and delivering solutions to the broadcast industry and to all content owners seeking to optimize the value of their content.

Prior to his role at Silex Media, Halid previously directed sales at Avid Technology, where he developed the Avid brand in the Western US and Latin America markets and was responsible for annual sales in excess of $40 million. As President of start-up Curious Software, he established a market leadership position for its well-known map system and successfully led the effort to be acquired by VIZRT. He joined Silex Media from VIZRT where, as VP of Business Development, he helped the company to develop strategic partnerships.
