IceWEB Awarded Storage Contract From Federal Agency’s Video Surveillance Program

Initial order for $100,000 and 96TB

IceWEB, Inc. has received a contract from a Federal Government Agency for the company’s INLINE TE 246, Fibre Channel Storage Area Network. The storage system will be deployed in the Agency’s Video Surveillance Program. The initial order is for $100,000 and calls for 96 Terabytes of storage. The platform is expected to more than triple to over 300TB.

Our INLINE products have been designed specifically for customers that require a rapid ingest of Geospatial imagery and video data. The INLINE TE 246 ships with our ‘CosmicFORCE 5.0’ toolset which provides managed scalability and secure indexing of data, a critical requirement for the Geospatial Intelligence community.”

The INLINE TE 246 was designed to deliver maximum data throughput for high bandwidth video and other data intensive applications. This high performance storage solution combines Fibre Channel connectivity with Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial ATA (SATA) drive technology. Its multi-tiered architecture provides customers with the flexibility to support a variety of applications on a single platform.
