Presidio Chosen as Home for EMC First Center of Excellence

Presidio Networked Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of advanced IT lifecycle solutions, announced today that it has been chosen as the home for EMC‘s First Center of Excellence. Combining Presidio’s design and implementation expertise, EMC’s Unified Storage, and VMware technologies, the Center of Excellence located in Presidio’s Woburn, Massachusetts technology center offers IT professionals a lab environment where virtualization data center architectures can be introduced, demonstrated and tested with their companies’ real world applications. The lab is designed to show various architectures for consolidation, disaster recovery and desktop virtualization.

As EMC’s 2008 Services Partner of the Year and a VMware Lighthouse Partner, Presidio was a natural choice to host the flagship Center of Excellence and in a prime position to help customers secure the greatest value from their VMware and EMC infrastructures.

Presidio will launch the new Center of Excellence during an Open House on January 29, 2009 from 2 to 5 PM. This event will feature full demonstrations of Exchange Disaster Recovery using Site Recovery Manager and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Rapid Deployment.
