This low cost upgrade promises to boost computer performance vs. the traditional 1.8” HDD by more than 400% with read/write speeds up to 75/40MB/sec. This will prove to be a life/computer saver for the hundreds of thousands of people who have bought computers running on a 1.8” HDD. The upgrade process is user friendly and rewarding due to an onboard USB slave port allowing for easy cloning with any off the shelf cloning software. This option will truly unleash the power of any compatible PC allowing for a much more rewarding user experience for both the personal and professional user.  In many cases the speed gains seen are equal to that of a power desktop PC.

RunCore also announces the release of the 256GB Pro III Hyper Speed 2.5” SATA SSD that will reach 230MB/sec read and 150MB/sec write. For the Power Notebook or Netbook user this upgrade will be very affordable at only $699.99. Most users will see a speed boost of over 700%. This upgrade truly revolutionizes the portable computer turning them into what most users would consider a personal super computer compared to what they have used in the past. This drive will allow any professional user the option of installing taxing programs and applications such as CAD, Graphics/Video Editing, Gaming, and much more on most any portable laptop computer.

Upgrading made easy

All RunCore Prosumer SSD products except 2.5” hyper speed (coming soon in February) now include an onboard USB slave port and USB cable allowing for easy cloning with any off the shelf cloning software. We suggest the Acronis True Image 15 day free trial; the setup file for this program will be included on all RunCore SSD products beginning in January.  It is as easy as 1 2 3:

  • 1 Plug it in to any available USB port,
  • 2 run the cloning software, and
  • 3 install the new RunCore SSD drive and turn it on.

This process should not take anyone including a novice user more than 10-20 Minutes to complete.
