Seagate’s New Collection Points Network in Vietnam
To obtain faster warranty services
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on January 1, 2009 at 2:16 pmIn a demonstration of its commitment to the Vietnam market, Seagate Technology announced the establishment of a network of collection points that make it much easier for its growing base of customers to obtain warranty services for their drives.
The collection points – located in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Danang – deliver significantly shorter turnaround times for Seagate customers seeking warranty service. Seagate is committed to having the drives delivered within two days to customers in Ho Chi Minh City, and within three days to other locations in Vietnam.
Return procedures are simpler and more user-friendly, as well. Customers just log on to the Seagate website and register for the warranty service. They then have the option of mailing or couriering their drives to one of the collection points, or visiting any of the collection points in person to drop off their drives.
Once the limited warranty service terms are validated, a replacement drive will be dispatched from Seagate’s distribution centre in Ho Chi Minh City via courier direct to the customer’s door. The delivery of the new drive will be free of charge, so that there is no additional cost to the customer.
“Seagate is fully committed to providing innovative service programs that will enhance our customers’ experience with our storage solutions,” said Henk Van Den Berg, South Asian Channel Sales director, Seagate. “Seagate knows how important our products are to our customers, and with the enhanced user-friendly approach in our warranty services, customers will be able to enjoy peace of mind with Seagate.”
