QLogic Router Qualified for CLARiiON AX 4 Replication Solution

QLogic Corp. announced that EMC has qualified the QLogic 6142 intelligent Storage Router as the preferred network solution for Fibre Channel replication with EMC CLARiiON AX4 networked storage systems and EMC MirrorView and EMC SAN Copy software.

The CLARiiON AX4 brings easy-to-use networked storage to small-to-medium businesses and branch offices at an affordable price and MirrorView and SAN Copy enable real-time replication. The QLogic 6142 intelligent Storage Router, which is qualified as EMC E-Lab Tested and available for purchase through the EMC Select program, allows CLARiiON AX4 users to protect data at remote sites in a highly cost-effective manner. The QLogic 6142 intelligent Storage Router leverages existing wide area network (WAN) connections to connect any two Fibre Channel storage area networks (SANs) and simplify remote replication deployments. In addition, this solution provides simplified and reliable protection for virtual server environments, including VMware Infrastructure.
