And German net-files with mind mapping

MindMeister, a web-based mind mapping service, recently launched a new API (Application Programming Interface) that allows external partners to integrate MindMeister’s mind map editor into their offerings.

The seamless integration uses the fast-growing Software-as-a-Service delivery model, facilitates browser-based editing outside of MindMeister and fits perfectly into project management or any kind of document management service. MindMeister also supports editing of MindManager(TM) and Freemind files.

MindMeister’s first integration partner is US-based Online Storage Service Box.net who supported browser-based editing early on. "MindMeister makes an excellent addition to Box.net’s OpenBox platform," says Karen Appleton, VP of Business Development at Box.net. "Box.net’s collaboration and content solution provides the best experience for storing, managing and sharing your files. MindMeister gives our 2 million users the additional benefit of creating and sharing mind maps from any folder or file in their Box account, maximizing time and increasing productivity."

At the same time MindMeister partnered with German net-files to provide mind mapping functionalities. Net-files is a web-based project management and document management platform that is eager to provide browser-based editing to its storage solution.
