"As customer data continues to grow and its criticality heightens, more of our clients require a high-volume solution that is affordable but still fully-managed," said Jeramiah Dooley, director of engineering, managed services for Peak 10. "In response to frequent customer feedback, we will now offer a scalable backup and storage solution to support customers with substantial quantities of critical data at a more cost effective rate."

The enhanced storage and backup management for high-volume data will provide a fully customizable and cost-conscious platform where customers can specify non-standard backup sets and retention levels. Customers can also specify spooling jobs to tape for managed off-site storage, and can even have backup jobs duplicated to alternate Peak 10 facilities for additional geographic redundancy.

"We are extremely excited about Peak 10’s new backup and storage product expansion," said Andrew Mametz, Peak 10’s director of operations and engineering for the Jacksonville market. "The nature of our business requires massive amounts of data flow through our data centers on a regular basis. Securing our clients’ mission-critical information with this enhanced offering will allow our customers to focus on internal projects while they rest assured that their data is secure and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

Peak 10’s managed IT and data center services improve reliability, increase revenue growth, lower costs and maximize internal resources for customers while keeping their valuable information technology assets close to the business. Peak 10 combines its secure network, high-tech data centers and portfolio of managed services with localized engineering and support to serve market-leading companies nationwide. The company owns and operates data centers in nine key U.S. markets that include Cincinnati, Ohio; Atlanta, Ga.; Raleigh and Charlotte, N.C.; Tampa and Jacksonville, Fla.; Nashville, Tenn.; Louisville, Ky.; and Richmond, Va.
