Dynamix Solutions Launches NetFile Storage

Based in Markham, Canada, NetFile Storage, a subsidiary of Dynamix Solutions, Inc. unveiled its user-friendly online backup and storage offering that provides users with a secure and easily-organized way to back up files across multiple platforms – including Mac, Windows.

“We are pleased to be offering a complete online back up, and disaster recovery, solution,” said Steven Fung, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Dynamix Solutions. “The NetFile Storage approach differentiates itself in two ways. First, we offer a low cost enterprise type solution to end-users. They can be confident their data is encrypted and secure. And second, we solve the intricate problem of storing cross platform data in a central location and making that data universally accessible to the user.”

NetFile Storage offers free, five hundred megabytes of online storage for any type of document, photo, song, movie or other digital media. Additional online storage is available for a monthly fee. NetFile Storage also provides an Enterprise solution enabling the user to backup email and database servers along with files. Back-ups occur automatically or manually. Further, historical versions of every file is preserved so a user can recover a file from any point in time by date-stamp.

At the core of NetFile Storage is privacy. “We took the unprecedented approach of using strong encryption and never storing users’ passwords or the plaintext of a their encryption keys,” said co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Steven Fung. “This means that no one can ever know what data a user is storing including the NetFile Storage staff.”
