Cordell II as vice president of business development. Cordell, who brings more than 30 years of executive management and technical IT experience to his new post, reports to Richard Clark, president and CEO of APTARE.
Cordell will focus on expanding APTARE’s strategic partnerships and alliances which are a key factor as the company continues to extend its storage reporting and management product offerings further into the IT infrastructure for Global 10,000 companies.
"Robert’s deep background and experience within the IT industry make him the ideal candidate to join APTARE’s executive team as we accelerate our growth," said Clark. "We look forward to creating new strategic alliances as we continue to extend the functionality of the StorageConsole product line and reach even greater audiences."
Prior to joining APTARE, Cordell held a variety of senior management and technical positions at Extreme Networks, Sun Microsystems and Hitachi Data Systems. He also served in a number of technical positions at IBM, earning various achievement awards. He holds several patents for his work in processor design, compiler technology and object technology. Cordell earned an M.B.A. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of North Carolina.
