Storage products represent only 4% of Dell's total revenues. For the nine months ending in October 2008, they were $1,934 million, a 8% growth compared to the same period one year ago ($1,786 million).

If the acquisition of EqualLogic, for no less than $1.4 billion and closed in January 2008, boosted Dell' storage revenues in its second fiscal quarter of the year, sales for the last three-month period are about the same as one year ago.
