Founded in 1985, Esteem Systems provides infrastructure services that protect the entire lifecycle of a company’s IT investment. In addition to Atempo, Esteem already partners with many of the world’s leading technology brands including Citrix Systems, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems and Dell.
Esteem will join the Atempo Continuous Data Protection (CDP) Select Partner program and will be able to take advantage of a broad range of partner benefits including flexible pricing, co-op branding, online registration and qualified leads.
Matthias Hintenaus, managing director northern and central Europe at Atempo said: “CDP is a core requirement for many of Esteem’s public and private sector customers. Esteem’s deep back-up and recovery expertise, combined with its focus on delivering technology solutions that closely match the business needs of its customers, should significantly increase the number of Live Backup deployments across the UK.”
Alastair Kitching, Chief Operating Officer at Esteem, said: “Putting in place the infrastructure to protect client data across the enterprise is a core part of our service. Partnering with Atempo gives us the capability to extend this service to every laptop and desktop, ensuring that client data throughout the company is being continuously protected.”
Atempo Live Backup is an enterprise-level continuous data protection (CDP) solution that automatically and incrementally backs up corporate data from laptops and workstations. One of its key advantages is that it can be deployed and managed remotely, making it completely transparent to the end user. In addition, Live Backup only replicates the changed blocks to the backup servers and consequently only sends a small amount of information at a given time. As a result, backups have virtually no impact on end user performance or network workload.
