Seagate Added Pace as Qualified DVR Manufacturers

The addition of Pace to Seagate’s growing list of qualified DVR manufacturers means that more people can enjoy even more of their favorite recorded television programs, without having to delete because their DVRs are full. The Seagate Showcase DVR expander is available in 500GB and 1 Terabyte capacities, for up to 200 hours of additional HD movies or 1,000 hours of additional standard definition television. Featuring a Seagate Pipeline HD hard drive inside, developed specifically to meet the HD video demands of today’s DVRs, the Seagate Showcase DVR expander is optimized for the home entertainment center, providing ultra-quiet acoustics and less heat. The Showcase DVR expander comes with eSATA or USB 2.0 interfaces, for easy connectivity and fast video streaming.
With millions of set-top boxes deployed throughout the Americas, Pace units can be obtained through most cable television service providers.
