Partnership Between Open-E and Equus

Open-E, Inc. announced that its premiere Open-E Data Storage Server (DSS) IP storage management system will be available through a strategic partnership with Equus Computer Systems, the world’s largest system builder to the channel.

Open-E’s high-in-demand, enterprise-class storage software solution will boost the Equus product offering adding enhanced capabilities for data protection, seamless SAN/NAS migration and disaster recovery. Open-E has more than 10,000 customers worldwide and with Open-E’s strong international and U.S. technology partners, Equus will now be able to leverage the company’s extensive experience and proven solution to provide market leading IP products.

The combined solution is perfect for storage consolidation, backup and replication, virtualization and file sharing applications. Pricing starts at $5000 for a 4 TB 3016-SAN/NAS solution.
