QStar Opens Office in Augsburg, Germany
This country is its largest market in Europe.

"Germany is our largest market in Europe, so it is only fitting that we expand our operation to help support our partners in this region," said QStar president Riccardo Finotti. "This year has been a time of expansion for QStar with new sales offices in Germany and Japan as well as the addition of several engineers. With the additional office in Germany we will strengthen our European presence as well as grow our largest market in the region."
Matthias Truejen, Sales Director of Central Europe Germany, will head up the office in Augsburg. Truejen has been in the storage industry for more than 15 years, much of that time managing a team which was selling and providing technical support for QStar solutions at our local distributors. He has a strong technical background in storage management, and will be directly responsible for key account relationship in Europe.
"I am excited about the opportunity to join the QStar team," said Truejen. "I have been working with QStar for many years while I was working for the Dicom Group, Headway/Acal and Avnet. QStar products provide greener archive management solutions, which I believe to be a key to gaining business in Europe as power consumption becomes an increasing issue in Germany and the surrounding countries. I am also very excited to explore new storage markets while with QStar."
