Emulex Corporation announced that its InSpeed SOC 422 Embedded Storage Switch has been deployed across the complete line of Pillar Axiom storage systems from Pillar Data Systems. This is the second-generation deployment of Emulex’s market-leading InSpeed switches within Pillar Axiom storage systems. The InSpeed SOC 422 is a trusted, enterprise-proven embedded storage switch that provides the world-class resilience, performance and RAS (reliability availability and serviceability) storage systems require.
