Unitrends’ Rapid Recovery 4.0 includes the Web 2.0 Rich Internet Application (RIA)-based Rapid Recovery Console for centralized control of backups, scheduling, recovery and configuration. It allows users to run on-demand backups or scheduled backup strategies for all clients and for all Unitrends’ Data Protection Units (DPUs) and Data Protection Vaults (DPVs) within their environments. With a new Backup Wizard that provides an exceptionally intuitive tool for learning to manage the critical backup function, the Rapid Recovery Console not only simplifies backups and scheduling but also provides customizable reporting that is easy to format and automate for future use. In addition, users can save customizable reports in XML or CSV formats to be imported into their choice of reporting tools including CrystalReports and Excel.
