StorageCraft Partners with LabTech
To incorporate ShadowProtect software into its continuous backup solution

LabTech is creating a self-healing, continuous backup solution that will remotely backup and monitor clients’ valuable systems and data. LabTech is using StorageCraft ShadowProtect in its management console to provide fast and reliable backup and disaster recovery.
“LabTech is excited to be partnering with StorageCraft, using proven ShadowProtect technology,” said Matthew Nachtrab, CEO of LabTech. “The LabTech Backup and Recovery solution will allow MSPs to guarantee to their clients that their backups are running properly and are tested every day–without the need for manual intervention.”
StorageCraft ShadowProtect, the line of disk-based backup and disaster recovery software, allows fast and reliable backup, bare metal recovery, system recovery and migration for Windows servers, desktops and laptops. It also includes hardware independent restore (HIR) features, allowing IT administrators to backup, restore or migrate systems to and from any environment, including the same system, dissimilar hardware or virtual environments such as VMware and Microsoft.
“LabTech was looking for proven backup software to integrate into the LabTech Backup and Recovery solution,” said Curt James, vice president of marketing and business development at StorageCraft. “ShadowProtect allows LabTech to restore systems with the least amount of downtown for clients. In the event of a system failure, LabTech detects the problem and automatically corrects it.”
In addition, the LabTech Backup and Recovery solution allows LabTech partners to safely take their valuable data offsite through FTP or through USB drives.

ShadowProtect Server Edition, ShadowProtect Desktop Edition and ShadowProtect IT Edition are available from authorized StorageCraft distributors, managed service providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs). Volume discounts are available.
