Jan Jensen EMEA VP of Sales for Iomega

Jensen will lead current business efforts in Europe and new business development across EMEA to spearhead Iomega’s geographic expansion as it becomes the preferred global provider of storage and network security solutions for consumers as well as small and mid-sized businesses.
“I am excited that Jan has joined the Iomega team,” said Jonathan Huberman, President of Iomega and the Consumer and Small Business Products Division at EMC. “Jan’s superb leadership skills are well-established, and he will help us in extending our already strong presence in both the consumer and SMB markets in Europe. His international experience in business-to-business and consumer sales, marketing and brand positioning is an excellent asset for Iomega.”
Jensen brings more than 15 years of technology leadership experience to Iomega, most recently as President of ViewSonic Europe, where he oversaw the company’s operations in EMEA.

Prior to joining ViewSonic, Jensen was vice president of worldwide sales channels in EMEA at Proxim Wireless Networks, a global leader in wireless networking equipment. At Proxim, Jensen was instrumental in repositioning the company as a premium brand, while simultaneously developing and implementing new global sales strategies. Prior to his tenure at Proxim, Jensen held a variety of leadership roles around the globe, including deputy chief operating officer for Metro International; vice president of business in EMEA for Gateway; director of international channel management for Siemens Computer Systems; business unit manager for Compaq Computer; and various sales and marketing roles for Panasonic/Matsushita. In addition, Jensen also has served on the board of directors for Energy Solution International, the largest independent software vendor of pipeline operation and business management software solutions to the oil and gas pipeline industry. In this role, he provided vision and direction in the development of global sales and marketing strategies.
Jensen holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Business Economics from Aarhus School of Business Administration in Denmark.
