That is something to appreciate even without HD movies on the hard drive.

After you insert an HDD the IB-MP3010HW is a digital video recorder. You can record from TV and radio programs via antenna, cable or set top box, also from DVD or CD players or the good old VCR and play – even with timeshift function. There are five recording qualities available.

The IB-MP3010HW plays videos, music and photos on a central stage. This is the TV set, the home entertainment centre or the stereo. Within a network you access shared multimedia files and drives via Samba. Without a network the 3.5" HDD is the source of the multimedia data.
