Secure Access Settles Suit Against U.S. Government

Acacia Research Corporation announced that its Secure Access Corporation subsidiary has settled its lawsuit against the U.S. Government for use of smart card-based physical access systems.

This patented technology generally relates to security systems that use smart cards to allow entry to restricted areas. This technology may be used in military and civilian government facilities as well as corporate environments that require verifiable personnel access.
