Nexsan SATABeast Supports VMware

Nexsan Corporation announced that its SATABeast high density, high reliability disk storage platform now supports VMware ESX 3.5 and ESX 3i.

As a member of the VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program, Nexsan has tested and confirmed compatibility for SATABeast’s Fibre Channel SAN connectivity with the VMware products.

The SATABeast is one of highest density storage solutions available in the market today providing up to 42TB of storage in only 4U of rack space. SATABeast also has one of highest reliability rates in the industry. Customers report component AFR of less than 1%. The mix of reliability, density and performance makes the SATABeast ideal for VMware customers employing a broad range of applications including fixed content storage and archiving, email, medical imaging, disk-based backup, digital video security, compliance and litigation support, and rich media. Through the VMware Technology Alliance Partner program, Nexsan has access to tools that will allow it to develop and deliver high-value solutions to joint SATABeast and VMware customers.
