Double-Take Adds More Partners in UK

Double-Take Software announced a growing number of its partners have launched managed business continuity services in the UK during the first six months of 2008. The services remotely manage the deployment of a Double-Take solution at a customer site, replicating changes to corporate data to a remote data centre in real time and, in the event of failure of production servers, automatically failing-over IT services. The introduction of these services is in line with the growing trend for the channel to offer hosted and managed services to their customers.

Of the new resellers signing up with Double-Software UK in 2008, Qube Networks partnered to develop a managed continuity service using Double-Take. The service from Qube was launched in May to address customer requests for outsourced disaster recovery capabilities. Qube has already signed up five customers, indicating that there is a realisable demand in this sector. Double-Take is providing marketing support to Qube by partnering with the company in a series of promotional events during 2008.
