In addition to streaming content to your iPhone, the LinkStation Mini’s Web Access can provide users easy access to their digital content stored on the device from anywhere in the world via a web browser. The uniquely equipped LinkStation Mini also puts up to 1TB of network storage in the palm of your hand, providing the ultimate space-saving solution for storing and sharing large amounts of digital content such as photos, music, videos and data files across your network.

With digital media becoming such an integral part of our daily lives, consumers are looking for an simple and convenient way to enjoy recently purchased music, movies or TV programming anytime, anywhere” said Ken Higgins, vice president of sales at Buffalo Technology. “Buffalo’s new Web Access capability allows users to enjoy their digital life wherever they are, rather than tuck it away on a computer, NAS or USB hard drive.”

The silent, fanless LinkStation Mini provides complete data redundancy through its dual drive RAID 1 configuration. In addition, users with a large media library will appreciate the included DLNA server by TwonkyVision, so they can stream files through any DLNA compatible media player. To best enjoy your multimedia content, the LinkStation Mini is built without an internal fan. This fan-less design ensures absolute quiet operation, which is a big plus if the unit is placed on a desk or entertainment center.

The LinkStation Mini also includes a Remote Power Feature, which can power up the unit remotely with the included Navigator software.  The extra USB port allows users to add an additional external hard drive for expanded capacity or a printer that can then be shared via the integrated print server. It also supports UPS so the unit can gracefully shut down in the event of a power failure. The product measures only 1.57 x 3.22 x 5.31 inches and weighs a slight 1.1 pounds.

Pricing and Availability
Backed by a limited one-year warranty that includes toll-free 24/7 technical support, the LinkStation Mini is now available at estimated street prices of $299 for the 500GB (LS-WS500GL/R1) and $599 for the 1TB (LS-WS1.0TGL/R1).
