Worcestershire NHS Trust has selected Double-Take’s Full-Server Failover Option (FFO), which in combination with Double-Take continuous data replication will allow the Trust to rapidly failover entire servers, including the operating system (OS), applications and data – even to servers with different hardware configurations.
Peter Lowe, IT manager at the Worcestershire NHS Trust, commented: “It’s clearly very important to our patients that the Trust’s systems are always available. We have selected Double-Take to ensure that in the event of localised IT failure, or a more widespread disaster, our IT systems will continue to serve the Trust’s needs.”
Ian Masters, UK sales and marketing director at Double-Take Software, said: “Worcestershire NHS Trust is one of the highest performing Trusts in the country and serves a local population in excess of 500,000. We’re proud to be part of helping the Trust meet its operational targets into the future.”
