To provide CDP on virtualized platforms

The companies are collaborating to enable customers to realize cost-savings through simplified IT infrastructures, using virtualization platforms and disaster recovery solutions with certified data protection, availability and continuous backup provided by Peer Software. Peer Software’s solutions have been certified to provide Parallels Virtuozzo Containers with virtual server backup of user and application data through the PeerSync product line, and MS SQL backup and MS Exchange backup through the Peer DRS product line.
Parallels Virtuozzo Containers is the world’s leading OS virtualization solution. This virtual infrastructure creates isolated containers on a single physical server and OS instance. Compared to other virtualization technologies, Parallels Virtuozzo Containers offers the highest levels of density, performance and manageability. Since Peer Software products are not are not tied to a specific hard disk, as long as a drive is visible by the Virtuozzo Container as a local drive, Peer Software products will be able to read and monitor its content.
