Dan Vertrees VP of Enterprise Sales for Bell Micro

Coming from HP and Compaq

Bell Microproducts Inc. announced that Daniel Vertrees has joined the company as vice president, enterprise sales. In his new role, Vertrees will lead Bell Microproducts’ enterprise sales division in the United States, reporting directly to Jerry Kagele, the company’s president of North American distribution.

"Dan brings an excellent understanding of the enterprise products we sell and knows our customers very well, and we are pleased to welcome him to Bell Microproducts," noted Jerry Kagele, president of North American distribution for Bell Microproducts. "Dan is a seasoned industry veteran with valuable sales and marketing expertise which will enable him to cultivate and foster strategic relationships in the enterprise market."

Vertrees has more than two decades of experience in technology related fields, most recently with Hewlett Packard, where he served as vice president of sales, Americas systems integrators, outsourcers and service providers. Prior to being named vice president of sales for Hewlett Packard, Vertrees held the position of vice president and general manager, technology solutions partners for the company. Vertrees was previously with Compaq as vice president, channels at the time Compaq was acquired by Hewlett Packard, and before Compaq held similar positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. Vertrees holds a BS degree in marketing and management from Eastern Washington University.
